Rosie - Calgary Baby Photography

I photographed the birth of this sweet munchkin and also did her newborn photos. It's so fun to watch these little ones grow, and I'm looking forward to a cake smash in a few months when she turns one!  We were hoping to do photos when she was able to sit up and not mobile yet, but this girl is an over achiever and started sitting up on her own and crawling at the same time. Watch out world, here she comes!

Family number 2. It's hard to do photos when there's a playground in sight. So rather than fight it, we embraced it and the kids had a blast!

8 is great! LDS Baptism Portrait Session - Calgary Child Photography

Turning 8 is a pretty big deal when you belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is the age where you are old enough to decide if you want to be baptized a member of the church. Abby made that decision and we had a mini session to capture this special time in her life. Congratulations Abby! 

Doesn't she look lovely? She didn't let the bitter cold and wind stop her. Such a beauty. 

Lydia - Calgary Child Photography

This sweet little girl just turned 2! This was my 3rd time photographing Lydia and I love seeing her grow and develop her own little personality. And she had plenty of that! At one point, her mom started laughing and said "she's copying her older sister's dance routine, sass and all." She is quite the character and such a darling little girl.

I'm missing green grass and warm, sunny days... Spring can not come fast enough.

Happy New Year!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am so excited for this new year. It's hard to believe 2013 is come and gone, but I'm looking forward to what 2014 has in store. And I wish everyone the best in this new year!

This year for Christmas my siblings and I gave the grandparents updated photos of all the grandkids. For my mom's birthday a few years back we made a gallery wall of the then 7 grandkids. It was time to update "the wall" so this time we thought we'd try and keep them looking a little more coordinated (I'm sure my mom was tired of looking at the hot pink and bright turquoise my kids wore for family photos 3 years ago). I'm so pleased with how they turned out. I love how my family is growing - 11 grandkids ranging from 12 years - 3 months and another little one due in April.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here were a couple that didn't make "the wall", but I just love these kids and wanted to show them off. I think we need to make an "out take wall" now too!
